A Christmas tree should should be real.  I have a real tree every year on Christmas.  Fake trees may last longer than real trees but real trees are full of life.  Real trees make my home much prettier than any fake tree would.  Real trees help people make money .   They do this by growing little baby tress many years earlier to become Christmas  trees and selling them.  These trees are then decorated with lights, ornaments and finally the star on top. Pine trees can be a hybrid in order to make a tree that won’t lose it’s needles.  Pine trees also smell better than plastic fake trees.  If a fake tree is thrown away, it is harmful to the environment.  But when a real tree is thrown away it can be chipped up and used to make wood chips.  So as you can see, I think for many reasons that real Christmas trees are better than fake Christmas trees.

Girls vs. Boys in Grades

In my opinion, I think that girls get better grades and are smarter than boys. I believe that because girls work harder than boys, they get better grades. I also believe that girls study more and pay attention more than boys. Because boys make silly noises with their laptops and goof off during class, they study study less and get bad grades.  I observe how boys behave during the day and what they do in class and this is why I think that girls get better grades than boys.

Ketchup is Not a Smoothie...and a Tomato is Not a Fruit!

I’m here to make things clear, a tomato is not a fruit and ketchup is not a smoothie!  Some people think that tomatoes are fruit because they are soft and they grow above the ground.  They are used in cooking like a vegetable would be used in cooking.  Tomatoes are also used to make ketchup.  The vegetables would blended like a smoothie  to make the ketchup but you would never drink ketchup.  No one in their right mind would drink ketchup like they would a smoothie.  Fruits are used to make smoothies but you never use a tomato to make a smoothie.  Therefore, tomatoes must be a vegetable and not a fruit. 

Should Cell Phone be Allowed in school

I believe that cell phones should be allowed in school but only for school related items..  If a student needs to ask a question and all of the teachers are busy, he can text his friend for help.  The cell phones could also be used for keeping track of assignments and taking notes.  The teacher will make sure every student keeps their phone off during tests. and they can take pictures of there experiment  If a student breaks a rule with their phone,their phone will get confiscated until the end of the day and the student will get detention during lunch time.  If they keep breaking the rules they will never be able to use their phone in school.  there is a lot of good reasons to have phones , if people follow the rules

My Favorite Music

I like all kinds of music.  When I listen to music on the radio, I listen to a station that plays a variety of music.  I like different kinds of music because it would be boring to listen to the same kind of music all of the time. Some of my favorite songs are Fireworks, This Place Has Got to Blow and Dynamite.  The only kind of music I don’t like are the songs that are played on the oldies station.  As you can see, I like all kinds of music except the oldies.

if you were a owl , what type of owl would you be in The Journey by Kathryn Lasky ?

In the journey , you could sleep in the day as  long as you like,and stay up all night because

you are a owl.  Although There are many types of owls but here are three types of owls, Tyto Alba,elf owl, and  great gray.  Those  are just three of many types of owls that live in the world.

Well lets get started .

there are guardians of Ga’Hoole that live in a very large tree called the great Ga’Hoole tree.

The tree grows berries to make  tea and  milk-berry tarts that they eat and drink . The owls  yarp pellets to nourish the great Ga’Hoole tree.  There  many hollows inside  the Great Ga’hoole tree,Soren , Gylfie , and twilight live inside one of those hollows.   there is a search and rescue chaw to save owlets  that fell out of their nest

if their  parents are gone,the search and rescue chaw protect the owlets by taking them to the Great Ga’hoole tree.  And give them some nests to sleep in their hollows.  the search and rescue chaw  goes on missions to find and save owlets . they use battle claws to stop st. Agies =  (  

battle claws are  made  to sharpen talons. Battle claws  are needed in battle.  battles claws are handmade  the Great Ga’Hoole tree.

like i said before it is fun to be an owl. but it’s time to go , bye ,

and i really liked the journey.

I am proud to live in the United States of America.

 Author's  note : i am very proud of   United States of America.   

I am proud of my country because we fought for the right to have freedom of speech. We fought for the right of religious freedoms.  We also gave women the right to vote.

We gave girls the right to go to school.  We helped other countries during natural disasters and our own: earthquakes, tornados, tsunamis, and hurricanes.

We have freedom of speech.  Some other countries don’t have freedom of speech.  Freedom of speech is what we believe in.  Freedom of speech means that we can believe in whatever we want and talk about it without being arrested.

 We have the right to choose our own religion.  Some countries do not have religious freedoms.  Yet we do.  If you were in another country and you believed in the wrong religion you could get arrested or even killed. 

The right to vote means everybody 18 and over can vote in the United States. Before that law passed only men could vote. Some countries don’t let women vote. I can’t wait to vote for the President some day.

Freedom of education means everybody can go to school.  In some countries, they don’t allow girls to get an education.  In the United States, anyone can go to school and get an education. 

We help other countries during natural disasters and also our own disasters like earthquakes, tornados, tsunamis and hurricanes.  Some countries can’t help each other.  The United States enters other countries right away to help clean up after natural disasters, feed people, and give people temporary homes.

As you can see I am very proud of the United States of America. I am proud and happy that I live in America. I am proud that I can live with my family in a place where we are happy and free. I am also proud that I live in a time where women can vote and girls can go to school. One Piece, a Super Funny Series

  Author's Note:  i chose this series becuse of the frist book

 

The characters in the One Piece series are normal people who eat magical fruit and receive magical powers.  That is when the funny things start happen.  The main characters are pirates named Luffy, Zollo, Usopp, Sanji, and Nami and are enemies of Mr. Zero, Mr. Five, and Mr. Nine.  These pirates eat fruit with funny names like the Gum-Gum, Slip-Slip, Cut-Cut, Bomb-Bomb and the Kilo-Kilo fruits and receive magical powers.

 

One of the pirates was funny because he is a hypnotist who accidently hypnotizes himself into going to sleep. He also hypnotizes three boys in going to sleep at the same time.  Bounty hunter, Zollo, said now that’s strange!  Later on, the hypnotist hypnotizes Luffy and hypnotizes himself again in to going to sleep. As you can you can see he is not a very good hypnotist since he keeps putting himself to sleep.

 

Another funny thing that happened was a boy named Koby wanted to go fishing and he accidently stumbles onto a pirate ship and became a cabin boy. Luffy saves Koby by defeating the captain of the pirate ship. An evil man named Wapol almost ate Luffy’s ship.  He almost ate Luffy but Luffy sent Wapol into space by slingshot.  Wapol is a crybaby because a villager named Dalton who doesn’t like Wapol slashed him.  Wapol said I am going to die but he had 20 doctors who saved him.   
  

 Mr. Zero is the boss of Ms. Wednesday, Mr. Nine, and Mr. Five. Mr. Nine was bowing down to Ms. Wednesday because he found out she was a princess.   She told Mr. Nine to cut it out because she did not like it.  Then Zollo said to Mr. Five, I sliced your booger in two. The funny part about the booger slicing was Zollo said it angrily even though it sounds like a joke.  Zollo was angry because Mr. Five threw his own booger at Zollo.  All of these funny things happened while they were on a mission for Mr. Zero.

 

This book made me laugh out loud many times.  I hope you will enjoy the One Piece series as much as I did.  The characters in the series say things a funny way.  They also do things funny like hypnotizing themselves into falling asleep.   The characters are normal people who eat magical fruit with funny names and receive powers and all the funny things start to happen.
